It is a It is a blue-yellow-blue vertical tricolour, divided 1:4:1 with coat of arms shifted to the top within the yellow stripe.

Steinbach Coat of Arms

The shield is blue and shows a golden owl guardant, accompanied in sinister chief by a silver fleur-de-lis. It has a silver base, divided by a blue bar wavy, charged with five golden stones.
Meaning:
The owl is referring to the nickname of the inhabitants. The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Assumption, the patron of the chapel of Etzelsbach. The bar wavy filled with stones is a canting element. The municipality's name means "stoney creek".
