Description of the flag

Midway is located in southern interior of British Columbia on the border with Washington State. West of Grand Forks and Greenwood on Highway #3, within the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary, immediately east of the Okanagan Valley.
City of Midway

It is a ~3:2 horizontal bicolor of white over darker blue divided by a triple zigzag with three peaks and four valleys; on each of the two central white valleys a red maple leaf and centered on the main blue area a white star. The blue and white central zigzag “stripes” are slightly unequal, with the blue one being thicker; their combined orthogonal thickness is about 1/5th of the flag’s height.
