"In a shield per bend by gules and vert is sable and argent bend accompanied by cold chisel at left and argent sheet of slate at right. A shield enframed by an argent cartouche and crowned by argent urban crown with three prongs and is framed by a coniferous branch on the right and branch of blooming lilac at the left, entwined by the azure belt with or characters "AMVROSIIVKA". The gules colour is a character of a mining of clay and manufacturing brick and tile by it. The vert colour symbolizes oof of the nature. Narrow sable-and-argent bend symbolizes the railway."
According to <www.ngw.nl>, the arms were adopted on February 2, 1993.

The City

from the site of Ukrainian Heraldry :
"Is founded at 1869 in connection with construction of the railway. In the end of XIX century were built cement works by diggings a marl."
