A number of flags created as the combinations of national flag and gay rainbow flag have been used in Taiwan since at least 2010. They replace the plain red field with six rainbow stripes. On one of them, blue stripe is in the same shade as the canton. It was used at the Taiwan Pride in Taipei, on 2010-10-30: https://www.flickr.com/photos/rock-yang/5128350927
and again next year, on 2011-10-29: https://www.flickr.com/photos/yclou/6292802043, and also in the following year, on 2012-10-27: https://www.flickr.com/photos/louisoy/8189945709  https://www.flickr.com/photos/louisoy/8191225864, https://www.flickr.com/photos/louisoy/8190014479 and on 2012-10-28: http://blog.rti.org.tw/english/2012/10/28/taipei-sees-biggest-ever-pride-parade/

Another variant uses lighter shade of blue for the stripe. It appeared at the Taiwan Pride on 2011-10-29: https://www.flickr.com/photos/68513806@N08/6293499609, https://www.flickr.com/photos/68513806@N08/6294017698. Next year, both of these flags were seen together on 2012-10-27: https://www.flickr.com/photos/louisoy/8191208620 and the flag with light blue stripe appeared again in the following year, on 2013-10-26: https://www.flickr.com/photos/moloch7/10692271125

While blue and green have about the same brightness on the flag described above, there is also a variant with darker green and lighter blue. Its photos from the Taiwan Pride, taken on 2013-10-26, can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/moloch7/10692269925 and here https://www.flickr.com/photos/moloch7/10692281324

Another gay flag is derived from the national flag, not by combining with the rainbow flag, but by replacing blue and red colors with light pink and deep pink, respectively. It is frequently charged with various additional inscriptions and emblems. It appeared at the Taiwan Pride on 2012-10-27: https://www.flickr.com/photos/louisoy/8190152917 and again on 2013-10-26: https://www.flickr.com/photos/33784581@N07/10528000664 and on 2013-10-27: http://www.hindustantimes.com/photos-news/photos-world/gayparadeintaipei/Article4-951015.aspx
