Overview

"Penal/Debe Regional Corporation was created by Act 21 of 1990 and became a Corporate body on October 1st 1991. It covers an area of approximately 246.91 sq. km of mainly undulating hills and plains, straddling the Countries of Victoria and St. Patrick. The population is approximately 100,000 from a combination of 30,000 households. The Burgesses of the Corporation are involved in general contracting, agriculture and fishing. There are reserves of oil and natural gas with exploration taking place in the Penal and Barrackpore districts."

The Flag

The flag is green-yellow-green vertical triband with regional emblem in the center of the yellow field. It can be seen on the right corner of the upper banner and on a photo flying together with TT flag on the same page.
