The flag and arms of Mirna Peč are prescribed by Decision Odlok o grbu in zastavi Občine Mirna Peč, adopted on 15 May 2000 and published in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, No. 47. Decision Odlok o spremembi Odloka o grbu in zastavi Občine Mirna Peč, adopted on 21 March 2006 and published on 30 March 2006 in Uradni list Republike Slovenije, No. 33 (text) only amended the penal prescriptions.

The flag is rectangular, in proportions 2:5, vertically divided in three green-yellow-blue fields, the middle one being square and charged with the three red bees from the coat of arms.

The coat of arms of Mirna Peč is diagonally tierced in bend sinister in green, golden and blue with three red bees overall. The three bees are said to represent the working people of the three valleys that constitute the municipality.
