Coat of arms

Shield Purpure, a bridge Or masoned Sable issuant from a base wavy of Argent and Azure, in chief a classic temple Or garnished Sable. Mural crown with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "FREGUESIA DE PONTE DE LIMA".
Meaning:
The base wavy is alluding to river Lima. The bridge is representing the name giving bridge, having been there since Roman tomes. The temple probably also alludes to the Roman ancestry.
