Shield Vert, a fess chequered of Argent and Gules (3 rows 10 columns), in base a millstone Argent, in chief a fleur-de-lis Or opened Azure. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank)and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "ALVORNINHA".
