Coat of Arms

[COA of Nedre Eiker] image by Tomislav Šipek, 28 October 2015

Blazon: På rød bunn tre gull eikeblad, to over ett. In English: Gules three oak leaves or.
Approved by the crown prince-regent's resolution of 26 June 1970 after a drawing by Odd Fjordholm after a previous design from the municipality.
The design is, of course, canting, following an old heraldic Norwegian design. A court official in Oslo, Pros Lauritssøn, in 1560 was granted nobility arms having in its lower half the same design.
