Overview

The gonfalon and the coat of arms were adopted on the 4th January 1988. The coat of arms is argent a Trento eagle sable armed or, the shield fimbriated purple. The gonfalon is horizontally purple-white-purple with the coat of arms in the middle surmounted by a crown or and with the words Provincia autonoma Trento in gold. There isn’t any official flag.

About Trento the flag appeared in Vexilla Italica 1-23 (1996) but it is unofficial (as far I know)
Trento flag is : Purple-white-purple with arms in center

I had the possibility to see the flags of the Trento Province . It is a dark red - white - dark red horizontal triband with the coat of arms of the province in the center. The flag seems to be unofficial but its the use is quite common.
