Flag of Povljana

The flag of Povljana is prescribed by Decision Odluka o grbu i zastavi Općine Povljana, adopted on 31 March 1998 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 1 July 1998 in the County official gazette Službeni glasnik Zadarske županije, No. 4.

The flag is described in Article 9 of the Decision as follows:

The flag of the Municipality of Povljana is in proportions 1:2, coloured blue with the coat of arms of the municipality, bordered white, in the middle.

A photo (23 April 2009) of the flag actually hoisted in the Town Hall shows a yellow border around the coat of arms.

The coat of arms (image, 16 June 2008) is described in Article 6 of the Decision as follows:

The coat of arms of the Municipality of Povljana is in blue a silver figure of St. Nicholas.
