Presentation of Sopje

Sopje is located some 10 km north of Slatina and 30 km east of Virovitica on the bank of river Drava, with just under 4,000 inhabitants.

Flag of Sopje

The symbols of Sopje were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka, and approved by the Ministry of Administration / Central State Office for Administration before 2006.

The flag is in proportions 1:2, dark with the coat of arms, bordered yellow, in the middle.

The coat of arms is "Azure a garb or with a clasp argent".
The clasp (or brace) possibly comes from some important archeological site in the municipality.
