Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess. Above is a half red, rampant, double-queued lion armed, crowned and tongued blue in a silver(=white) field. Below is a green field tierced per pale by silver(=white) wavy lines.
Meaning:
According to source the pall is symbolizing the fork of the local creeks of Agger and Sülz. The lion is representing the counts and dukes of Berg, the former rulers.
