Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, an owl statant guardant Argent armed Or, flanked by an 8-point star Argent in sinister chief and a bar wavy Argent in base, charged with four wavy lines Sable.
Meaning:
The owl is a canting element. Name giver of the municipality is Aula creek, which means "creek of owls" (German: Eulenbach). The four connected waves are representing four creeks crossing the municipality. The number of points of the star is representing the eight villages forming the municipality. The star is also representing the Counts of Ziegenhain, former rulers for centuries.
The arms were approved on 28 February 1978.
