Oberrot Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter barry of five of Gules and Argent, at sinister Azure, a lion's head caboshed Or, biting a chevron of the same.
Meaning:
The dexter half displays the family arms of the Lords of Rot. The sinister half displays the arms of Comburg Monastery, which became co-owner of the village in 1248.
