Description of the flag

  • The Town of Killam, Alberta in Central Alberta has a new municipal flag.
    Darrell Neuman, 7 June 2016

Based on the town's website at http://www.town.killam.ab.ca/, I would think this flag is part of a rebranding exercise. I see the same elements, and several photos where the colours yellow-green-blue are emphasized, reflecting the grassland, canola, and blue skies of this area. Presumably the black refers to underground oil?
