Description of arms (German): In einem goldenen, von einem erniedrigten blauen Wellenbalken durchzogenen Schilde erscheint oben ein schreitender schwarzer, rot bezungter und bewehrter Bär, unten eine golden besamte, fünfblätterige rote Rose mit grünen Winkelblättern.
Blazoning of arms (English): Or, a bar wavy abased Azure between a bear passant Sable langued and armed Gules and in base a rose Gules barbed Vert.
Adoption date of arms: 1 September 1953, in force 15 September 1953
