Flag

Located in Hamamatsu City Shizuoka Prefecture and established in 1992. The embroidered ceremonial flag has sky-blue background with a gold, red, white, blue and green symbol mark and gold kanji university name written vertically in gold fringe. The late Dr. Albert Atwell, an American who served at Seirei Gakuen from 1978 to 1981, created the symbol mark of Seirei in 1980. The outer double circle of the university symbol represents the "tub" in which the Lord Jesus Christ washed the feet of His disciples at the Last Supper. The three circles inside symbolize the mission of the Seirei Group: medical care (red), welfare (green), and education (blue). The cross in the center represents Christianity, indicating that all of Seiryoku's projects began within the Christian church.
