The coat of arms of Bistra is "Argent a book bound gules gilded and clasped or ensigned with three apples of the last and in base six gouttes des larmes, three, two and one".
The book refers to the school tradition older than 150 years in Bistra. The apples are attributes of St. Nicolas, the patron saint of the municipality. The six blue drops are for the six settlements in the community, but also cant the name of the municipality that alludes to crystal-clear sources.
