Overview

I found an interesting site for the Puerto Rican flags. The flag of the Puerto Rican community that immigrated to Hawaii is the Hawaii state flag with Puerto Rican flag in place of the British flag in Canton.

Supposedly, the flag was designed by Javier A. Hernández in 2020. On the website, we can see multiple other flags were designed by him such as an Afro-Puerto Rican flag, a diaspora flag, and a Florida-Puerto Rican flag. Though I will say I'm not sure that he has a relation to all of these communities, and there is no record of them being used by people from what I'm able to see.

There is also a short presentation of a Puerto Rican Vexillological Society, which was hosted by Yahoo Groups. Apparently Mr Hernández was a prominent member, as well as the other people whose designs are offered for sale by his company. The society seems not to have outlived the end of Yahoo Groups, though.
