The Veterans' Association (Schützenveteranen-Verband Kanton Schwyz SVVS) was founded in 1910. In 1957 the first flag was inaugurated, in 1973 the second, in 1995 the third, in 2002 the fourth and current flag.
At the hoist side the coats of arms of the districts of Einsiedeln, March, Höfe and Schwyz are displayed vertically.
