The Band

Western Cherokee Nation of Arkansas and Missouri is an organization claiming to represent about 40,000 descendants of the Cherokees who avoided being resettled to Oklahoma in the time of 'Trail of Tears'. It is unrecognized by the State of Arkansas and the federal government of the U.S. as well.
