Eastern Yacht Club

The Eastern Yacht Club (EYC) was organized in 1870 in Marblehead by twelve founding members, the clubhouse being inaugurated in 1881. EYC boats "Puritan", "Mayflower", and "Volunteer" successfully defeated their British challengers in the America's Cup in 1885, 1886, and 1887, respectively.

The burgee of EYC, as shown graphically on the club's website, is blue with a red bend charged with a white star.
