Description of the flag

Municipal flag design for the city of Bellingham, Washington, designed by Bradley James Lockhart of Lariat Creative in accordance with the principles of vexillology.

This design won a contest hosted by the Downtown Bellingham Partnership and was first raised in March of 2016. It has since been adopted by the Port of Bellingham, flown by dozens of local businesses, and is proudly displayed by hundreds of citizens.
