Telefonaktiebolaget L. M. Ericsson, commonly reffered to as Ericsson "is one of Sweden's largest companies, is a provider of telecommunications equipment, data communication systems, and related services covering a range of technologies including mobile networks. In mid 2012, Ericsson was the world's largest mobile telecommunications equipment maker".

The company was "founded in 1876 as a telegraph equipment repair shop by Lars Magnus Ericsson, it was incorporated on August 18, 1918. Headquartered in Kista, Stockholm Municipality, since 2003".
