Shield Azure, two lilies ordered per fess, at dexter Argent leved and trunked Or, at sinister in counterchanged colours. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "ALCARAVELA".

Alcaravela Commune is one of the four communes of the Sardoal municipality (q.v.); it had 904 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 36.7 km².
