Coat of arms

Shield Or, a fleur-de-lis Azure, a sheaf of three wheat ears Vert tied Gules, a pit-lamp Azure illuminated Argent and a branch of oak Vert, the whole ensemble ordered per cross. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "CORTE DO PINTO - MÉRTOLA".
Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Conception, the local patron saint, the other charges are representing agriculture, mining and forestry.

Corte do Pinto Commune is one of the seven communes of the Mértola municipality (q.v.); it had 857 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 70.7 km².
