Shield Gules, a fess embattled Or masoned Sable, in chief a gridiron Argent, in base a timbrel Argent with bells Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "SANDE - S. LOURENÇO - GUIMARÃES".

The gridiron is an attribute of St. Lawrence, the local patron saint.

Coat of arms

Shield Argent, an orb Gules, in chief two grapevines Purpure leaved Vert, in base two rye ears Vert in saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "BALAZAR - GUIMARÃES".
Meaning:
The orb is an attribute of Jesus Chrsit, as the Divine Saviour being the local patron saint. The other charges are symbolizing agriculture and viticulture.
