The arms are Or an eradicated tree leaved Vert and trunked Purpure, flanked by two pairs of tools Sable each pair crossed per saltire, in central chief a crown Azure. Mural crown argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "LAMAROSA".
Meaning:
The tools - hammer and chisel rsp. mallet and chisel - are symbolizing mining.

The arms are Vert over a base wavy Argent and Azure, a crozier Or tied with a scarf Argent and an eradicated tree Or. Mural crown argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "S. MARTINHO DE ARVORE".
Meaning:
The arms are canting, displaying a tree (Portuguese: àrvore while crozier and scarf are representing St. Martin (Portuguese: São Martinho. The base wavy is alluding to the rivers Mondego and Velho.
