Coat of arms

Shield Azure, a sheaf of three wheat ears Or at dexter and a branch of olive Or fruited Sable at sinister between a fleur-de-lis Argent in chief and a sword over a scimitar, both Argent hilted Or and crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "SALVADA - BEJA".
Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Conception, the local patron saint.

Coat of arms

Shield Azure, parted per pall wavy Azure fimbriated Argent, in chief a bladed wheel Or, in both flanks a pair of wheat ears Or tied Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "QUINTOS - BEJA".
Meaning:
The wheel, an instrument of torture, is an attribute of St. Catherine, the local patron saint.
