About the flag

The ATCM (Association of Town Centre Managers, now Management) operates the Purple Flag Award, an indicator of where to go for a good night out. It is an award for town centres that meet or surpass the standards of excellence (https://www.atcm.org/programmes/purple_flag/apply_for_purple_flag/purple-flag-standards) in managing the evening and night-time economy and also good practice examples designed to help transform town and city centres at night.
