The municipality of Pozoantiguo (290 inhabitants in 2009; 3,768 h) is located in the east of Zamora Province, 40 km from Zamora.

Symbols of Pozoantiguo

The flag and arms of Pozoantiguo are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 22 April 2004 by the Municipal Council, signed on 7 October 2004 by the Mayor, and published on 21 October 2004 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 204, p. 15,250 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular, with proportions 2:3, bright red with the municipal coat of arms in full colors in the middle, a bordure embroidered in black.
Coat of arms: Or a stone well [pozo] with an iron arch and a pulley, three wheat spikes issuant all sable [Crown not mentioned].
