The flag's ratio is 3:5. The flag is horizontally divided red over white over red with ratio 1:2:1. The coat of arms is in the white stripe shifted to the hoist.

Coat of arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a silver(=white) field stands a red embattled tower upon a green mountain having three tops. Above the tower are two red chevrons.
Meaning:
According to source the chevrons are a simplifikation of the arms of the counts of Ravensberg. The mountain is symbolizing the green slopes of the Wiehengebirge, the tower is that one, which stands upon Nonnenstein hill.
