Description of the flag

The flag of the City of Elliot Lake, Ontario, consists of full coat of arms on a white background. The flag was seen on a photo of the city mayor at: http://www.cityofelliotlake.com/en/cityhall/mayorcouncilandcommittees.asp [although the image has now changed - ed].
Valentin Poposki, 17 October 2009

An image of the flag is available on the Elliott Lakes Standard web page from May 2015, and the detail of the arms can be seen on a lapel pin on ebay (image archived here). The shield has 7 horizontal waves blue and white, on which is a ship's wheel, and on that a red maple leaf. Above the shield is a miner's hat, and above that an atom with electrons. The motto OMNES AD UNUM (all for one) is arched above the atom, and below the shield is the city name.
