Description of the flag

This is the flag of Air Canada, when it was known as Trans Canada Airlines. Campbell and Evans' The Book of Flags said "...Trans-Canada Air Lines uses a blue flag bearing the Maple Leaf..." in reality the field was more like blue-green, with a red maple leaf inside a red ring.
