The seal shows a blue ring with red outlines. Inscribed at the top of the ring is the town and state name separated by a cotton plant. At the bottom of the ring is a white banner with the establishment year, separated by the Tennessee triple star emblem found on the state flag. In the center of the seal is a white field with the ring of light blue stars at the outer edge of the field. Inside are silhouette of a steam locomotive, an old farm tractor with a plough, and a Medal of Honor badge.

The police department's flag is a light blue field with a rising diagonal bi-bar of dark blue and white. On the left side are the three stars from the Tennessee state flag. On the right side of the bars is the police department's seal.
