A red-blue-red vertical tricolor, the blue stripe somewhat wider. On the blue stripe, a white map of the county, and on it a kilted piper bearing a state flag. Above a yellow ribbon stating SCOTLAND COUNTY and below another yellow ribbon stating FEBRUARY 16, 1899. In the lower part of the red stripes are clusters of flowers (hoist side) and cotton (fly side). The original can be found at www.scotlandcounty.org/
