Noble County, Indiana, adopted a flag by order of the Board of County Commissioners on June 1, 1982. This order was codified at 1-2-2-1 of the Noble County Code of Ordinances, effective January 1, 1985. The description reads: "The County flag has the following design: three... bars of equal width, with the bar nearest to the hoist in dark blue, the center bar in yellow, and the outermost bar in orange; a circle centered in the yellow bar, with the word "NOBLE" centered above the circle; within the circle, an Indian teepee centered, with the numbers "1836" centered above the teepee; two (2) tomahawks centered in the circle behind the teepee; with the circle, the teepee, the tomahawks, "NOBLE", and "1836" in black."
