The village of Arden, Delaware, has informed me that it does not have a flag.
Valentin Poposki, 2 October 2010
Although it appears Arden doesn't have a flag as of now, it has had one.
In 1989, Leon Tanzer of Arden suggested an Arden flag and flagpole. On July
25, 1990, Tanzer sent some guidelines regarding the flag: the time-frame of
completion, when it would be flown, location, and its design. Tanzer ended up
forming a flag committee, holding four meetings. The committee consisted of four
members: Barnes King, Sally Thurston, Peter Renzetti, and Leo Tanzer. On March
25, 1991, the committee submitted a design of the flag by Thurston, which was
then approved by the village council. Nothing is known about this flag, except
that it measured 36 by 54 inches (2:3).
