"On May 20 1997 the session of village council approved the
gonfalon: a square canvas with a ratio of 1:1. On a green field
there is yellow Azalea flower; the lines, going from the middle
of the sides of the gonfalon are forming white triangles."

Trying to help with better translaton: square, on white field
green lozenge with yellow Azalea flower. The yellow Azalea
(Rhododendron Luteum and Azalea Pontica are the latin names of
the flower found out in a book), is native bush flower from the
area.

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"The modern coat of arms was approved on 20 May 1997. A
board is divided to baldric at the left. In a top azure field
there are or gun and hunting horn, in a gold bottom there are
vert Osier branches. The authors are Yu.Terlets'kyi and
A.Grechylo."

"City in Rivne Oblast. Was founded in 80's of XIXth century.
Till 1922 its name was Okhotnikovo, after the name of the owner
of the land on which the settlement was established."
