The Village

"It was found in the end of XVII century. By the one version, the first settler had surname Kruglak. According to a legend, nearby there was a big and deep lake which every year was filled with water from spring floods of Oskol. It had almost correct round (krugla) form, as has served as an occasion for the name of village. There was legend, that in the lake lived mermaid who became a water lily in time, when on the land dropped first beams of the sun."
