"It was confirmed in January, 25th, 2001 by the decision #79 of XVII village council session. Square panel consists of two equal horizontal strips - crimson and black, in the middle of their is white gryphon with red eyes and yellow claws, beak and tongue. He takes yellow mining lamp in the right front hand."

"It was confirmed in January, 25th, 2001 by the decision #79 of XVII village council session. Per fess by gules and sable; argent gryphon with gules eyes and or claws, beak and tongue takes or mining lamp in the right front hand. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by argent urban crown with three prongs. The author is A.Grechylo.
Griffin is a symbol of the ancient Belz principality. The mining lamp and a sable field specify the name of city and the coal-mining industry. Gules-and-sable colors specify an accessory of the city to Chervonohrad.
