"It was confirmed in February, 7th, 2007 by the decision
#12/16 of region council session of V convocation. The
rectangular panel with ratio of the parties 2:3 consists of three
equal horizontal strips - red, green and blue; on a red strip
near staff is a white cross (scope of the parties is equal to 1/4
of a flag height); a green and dark blue strip are shared
wavy".

"It was confirmed in February, 7th, 2007 by the decision
#12/16 of region council session of V convocation. Dexter per
fess and per pale. Gules; argent direct cross. Azure. Argent;
vert cane and leaf with argent flower of water lily.
Silver cross is Volyn' mark. Azure means Shats'k lake and river;
the cane emphasizes an originality of a nature of region. The
argent and water lily (nimpha alba) symbolize cleanliness of a
nature. Vert means local woods, and also symbol Holm land and
Polissya."
