Tunisie Télécom (اتصالات تونس, English: Tunisia Telecom) was established by
"loi N°36" (English: Law No. 36) of April 17, 1995 and entering into force on
January 1, 1996 as "Office national des télécommunications" (English: National
Telecommunications Office), being a public company. It was privatized by Decree
No. 30 of April 5, 2004, a process that had started in 2002, which changed its
name into Tunisie Telecom SA (Société Anonyme).

On March 15, 2016 a new visual
identity is realeased, with a new multicolor logo and the name below in Arabic
in black, thus deriving in a new flag. A new slogan was also launched in French,
"La vie est émotions" (English: Life is emotions).

The new flag is a horizontal background with the new logo in the middle and one variant featuring the company's name below in Arabic in black letters and the other variant featuring the slogan below in French in blue letters.
