The coat of arms and flag of Dol pri Ljubljani are prescribed by Decision Odlok o grbu, zastavi in prazniku Občine Dol pri Ljubljani, adopted on 17 September 1996, and published in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, 56/1996, with effect the same day.
The flag is rectangular, in proportions 2:5, horizontally divided green-yellow-blue (with respective proportions 2:1:2). It is a simplification of the municipal coat of arms.
The colour specifications are:
- Green: Pantone Process Green C
- Blue: Pantone Process Blue C
- Black: Pantone Process Black C
- Gold: Pantone Gold C (on the coat of arms)
- Yellow: Pantone Process Yellow C (on the flag).
