Two days ago, during a local broadcast on ESPN of the 2016 World Cup of
Hockey I saw a very particular flag for Sweden. It is a horizontal yellow flag
featuring three stylized blue crowns of the coat of arms of the country. The
flag is seen here:
http://media.gettyimages.com (source:
http://www.gettyimages.in).
When doing a little research, I found out
that it is the flag (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweden_men%27s_national_ice_hockey_team)
of "Sweden men's national ice hockey team (Sveriges herrlandslag i ishockey, in
Swedish) or "Tre Kronor" (Three Crowns in Swedish). The team is managed by the
Swedish Ice Hockey Association (SIHA, Svenska Ishockeyförbundet, in Swedish)
However, in the picture mentioned above, this particular version features
the logo (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/58/World_Cup_of_Hockey_2016_small_logo.png)
of the WCH2016.
