About the flag

"The NWA Kindred exists for the practice of the pre-Christian Scandinavian/Germanic religion in Northwest Arkansas. We gather together for sumbels, blots, or games on such holy days as Yule and Midsummer. We also study the languages and skills of the Northern European peoples, e.g. learning Old Norse and Anglo-Saxon, studying the sagas and Eddas, rune carving, and mead-making. Recent events include games (hammer toss, log toss, etc) at Midsummer, rune classes, and an open sumbel at a large pagan Fall Festival gathering. Our members and friends come from a variety of ancestral backgrounds, and like the vast majority of heathen organizations, we are opposed to racism and racial hatred."

And there is a flag for this organization, shown at http://www.northwestarkansaskindred.org/photoalbum/Kindred%20Flag%20Design.

Nice design, with obvious Scandinavian-cross influence. The emblem is Thor's hammer charged with a raven, a sun-wheel swastika, and a boar.
