Shield Argent, a dolmen Proper, flanked by two embowed wheat plants Vert tied Gules, in chief an orb Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "GALEGOS - PENAFIEL".
Meaning:
The orb is an attribute of Jesus Christ, as Divine Saviour being the local patron saint.
