Shield Purpure, three plates in fess, in chief a key Or in bend over a key Argent in bend sinister, both with their wards upwards and outwards, base wavy barry wavy of Argent and Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "SOÃ PEDRO VELHO".
Meaning:
The name of the commune means Old Saint Peter: the keys on the arms are canting.
