Shield Or a castle Azure with port and windows Argent and masoned of the same between a lozenge Sable on central base point, three wheat ears Vert in fan tied Argent on dexter chief point and an olive twig Vert fruited sable on sinister chief point. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE ZEBREIRO E SEGURA".

The arms are Sable, in centre a pillory Argent lined Sable flanked by a wheat ear Or (dexter) and an olive branch Argent fruited Or (sinister) . Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading "ZEBREIRA" in black upper case letters.

Presentation of Zebreira

Zebreira was one of the pre-2013 communes of Idanha-a-Nova Municipality. It had 873 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 103,6 km². In 1801 it had already 771 inhabitants and in 1834 it became even town and seat of a municipality.
